Arts United is one of 11 Regional Arts Partners with the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC). These partners work alongside the IAC to promote and expand participation in the arts in Indiana. Partners provide broad local access to arts services and funding opportunities and provide services that include, but are not limited to, grantsmaking and information and referral.
As the Region 3 partner, Arts United serves the following counties: Adams, Allen, Dekalb, Huntington, Lagrange, Miami, Noble. Steuben, Wabash, Wells, Whitley
Arts Project Support (APS)
Arts Project Support (APS), a core grant program of the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC), provides funding to 501c3 nonprofits, units of government, and schools to support arts projects that occur during the grant period. Some examples of eligible projects include a one-time art event, a single performance, an exhibition, an educational workshop, or series of related arts activities such as art classes or training sessions that are open to the public whether free or for a fee. Applicants may request up to $4,000 (new) to support their project, and there is no match requirement.

Arts Organization Support (AOS)
Arts Organization Support (AOS) grants provide annual operating support for the ongoing artistic and administrative functions of eligible arts organizations that align with IAC funding priorities. The applicant does not request a grant amount. The grant amount is based on available funds, the number of eligible applicants, application score, the organization’s budget size, equity funding priorities, and budget size policy.
The Arts Organization Support program will be open every other year. Applicants that are funded in this program will be funded for two years. Those that are not funded in FY24-25 are welcome to apply to Arts Project Support in 2024 for funding in FY25.
