2023 Grant Guidelines & Resources

Helping arts and cultural organizations develop their crafts is a core part of Arts United’s mission. We’re devoted to enhancing the accessibility, visibility, and diversity of cultural experiences available to families throughout Northeast Indiana. That’s why we eagerly look to support worthy projects and organizations through grant funding.

2023 Grant Opportunities

Community Connections: Southeast Arts Project Grants

Community Connections: Southeast Arts Project Grants are intended to bring together residents in Southeast Fort Wayne to enhance a sense of pride in shared community spaces, strengthen relationships between members of the community, augment existing community development efforts and activities, and celebrate both the history and culture of residents by encouraging community participation in a unique artistic experience. Grants will provide funding to support arts and culture projects and activities in Southeast Fort Wayne.

Regional Arts Council Capacity Grants

The Capacity Grant Program provides funding to members of the Regional Arts Council for one or more of the following: improving artistic or educational quality, developing, growing and/or reaching new audience, building or expanding a fundraising program or donor base, engaging, training, or retaining staff and/or volunteers, or taking action steps toward IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, or access).

Amplify Art

Amplify Art is a social media based crowdfunding program that builds community support for and raises awareness of creative projects happening in Northeast Indiana. Organizations, businesses, and individuals may apply.

Indiana Arts Commission Grants: AOS & APS

Arts Organization Support (AOS) grants provide annual operating support for the artistic and administrative functions of eligible arts and cultural organizations that provide arts activities with special attention to underserved communities. Arts Project Support (APS) grants provide funding to Indiana arts and non-arts organizations to support a distinct aspect of the organization’s arts activities, such as a one-time event, a single production, an exhibition, or an educational seminar; or to support a series of related arts activities, such as art classes or training sessions.

Application Support Sessions

Arts United hosts Application Support Sessions to provide applicants with insight to each of the grants administered by Arts United. Each session will highlight general eligibility requirements, provide a comprehensive overview to each grant program, detail funding priorities, and answer any questions you may have about a particular grant opportunity.
