Welcome to Taste of the Arts

Taste of the Arts Festival celebrates and supports the rich diversity of arts and cultural experiences in our vibrant community. The festival is open to all, providing access to art without cost.

View our Frequently Asked Questions or scroll down to see all of the activities happening during Taste!

Taste of the Arts 2023 is Saturday, August 26th at Arts Campus Fort Wayne, Promenade Park, Rousseau Plaza, and The Landing.

The majority of activities take place between 11 am – 6 pm, and the festival finale continues until after 9 pm at Promenade Park.

Admission is free to Taste of the Arts! The only cost associated with the festival is if you buy something to eat or drink from our food vendors or from an artist at the Artlink Market or Kekionga Plein Air.

Nothing at Taste of the Arts requires tickets, so be wary of anyone telling you that they have tickets for sale for this event.

You will pay vendors directly. We are no longer selling food tickets as we have in previous years. Our vendors all accept cash. Some may accept card, but being prepared with cash is recommended.

Check out the parking information page.

Thanks to our sponsor AWS Foundation, we have increased accessibility at Taste of the Arts.

Accessible parking is available in the parking lot behind Fort Wayne Museum of Art (enter from Superior Street under the train tracks).

Sensory friendly kits are available at our info tents located at Main Street, Calhoun Street, and Promenade Park. These include noise reducing headphones and ear buds.

A quiet zone is available inside Fort Wayne Museum of Art in the Overlook Room for anyone feeling overstimulated at the festival.

Performances that have an excessive volume are indicated for those with noise sensitivity. American Sign Language interpreters will be at select performances indicated at the festival.

A free shuttle service is available from CTN to take attendees around the festival.

Arts United works with an all-volunteer committee to plan and produce the annual Taste of the Arts Festival. Check back to view available volunteer positions. For more information on these volunteer opportunities, please call Coby Hanna or Reuben Albaugh at (260) 424-0646.
