Indiana Arts Commission Arts Organization Support

As an Indiana Arts Commission Regional Arts Partner, Arts United administers Regional Initiative Grants  in eleven counties of Region 3: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Miami, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley.  Arts United serves as a source of information, referral and technical services for local organizations who apply for state arts funding.

Annual Operating Support grants provide annual operating support for the artistic and administrative functions of eligible arts and cultural organizations that provide arts activities with special attention to underserved communities.

  • AOS Level II (AOSII) ) is geared toward organizations with a cash income and expense budget of greater than $250,000.  Download the FY2018-FY2019 AOSII guidelines here. Please note Arts Organization Support II (AOS II) applications are submitted and paneled for two years; the current grant period is Fiscal Year 2018 (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018) and Fiscal Year 2019 (July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019). The next available application for AOS II will be for Fiscal Years 2020 and 2021.  Letter of Intent required for NEW Arts Organization Support (AOS I) Applicants – Deadline: January 17, 2018, 4:30 p.m. EST.  The letter of intent (LOI) will determine program eligibility and all applicants not currently receiving arts organization support must submit a Letter of Intent by January 17, 2018, 4:30PM EST and receive approval via a Notice of Eligibility to Apply to apply to this program. Click here to access and complete the required LOI.
