Arts & Culture Resilience Initiative

Arts & Culture Reopening Guide

Arts United worked closely with representatives from more than 25 organizations and the Allen County Department of Health to develop the Arts and Culture Reopening Guide. This guide supports arts and culture program and venue administrators as they consider how to successfully engage the communities of Northeast Indiana during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fort Wayne Artist Relief Fund

Arts United partnered with the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne to provide more than 85 rapid response relief grants totaling more than $53,000 to self-employed artists of all disciplines, artists contracted by arts and culture nonprofits, and furloughed employees of arts and culture nonprofits who have lost their income due to COVID-19. Round 1 of the Artist Relief Fund ended in July 2020, but look for Phase 2 soon. This program was made possible with a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

Arts & Culture Nonprofit Resilience Fund

The Arts & Culture Nonprofit Resilience Fund is a collaboration of Arts United and a circle of community leaders to ensure a vibrant future for Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana by supporting anchor arts and culture nonprofits as they reopen and reimagine mission delivery in a world informed by the realities of COVID-19. This program is currently under development.
