Before the primary election in April 2019, mayoral candidates were invited to respond to six questions about their vision for Fort Wayne’s arts, culture, and quality of life, and their views on supporting the excellence of Fort Wayne’s flagship cultural institutions, growing our city’s creative workforce, and making arts experiences more accessible for children and their families. Arts United received responses from Mayor Tom Henry (D), Dr. John Crawford (R), Ms. Gina Burgess (D), and Mr. Tim Smith (R).
