NIPSCO STEAM Park

STEAM Park is hosted in Freimann Square Park during the Saturday of the Taste of the Arts Festival. Every year, organizations have hosted kids art activities for free to engage young audiences and offering a chance to educate people on their organization and services. This year, NIPSCO has sponsored the STEAM Park to include STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) activities.

Expect to see everything from bicycle paint spin art to creating slime, to dancing with ballerinas at the barre and 3D printing. Over 40 businesses and non-profit organizations are participating this year by providing these free activities, with no shortage of something fun for the kids to try. Adults will enjoy the opportunity to learn more about each participating organization and business.
