Arts & Culture Nonprofit Resilience Fund
The Arts & Culture Nonprofit Resilience Fund is a collaboration of Arts United and a circle of community leaders to ensure a vibrant future for Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana by supporting arts and culture nonprofits as they reopen and reimagine mission delivery in a world informed by the realities of COVID-19. More than $2.8 million has been raised in support of the initiative. Two rounds of funding have now been granted to 18 organizations totaling $1.6 million in October 2020 and $600,000 in January 2021. A third round of grants is planned in May 2021.

Stories of Resilience – Art Unites Us
For our arts and culture community, 2020 has been a year of adaptation and resilience. Arts United is sharing their stories of resilience, shining a light on the critical importance of arts and culture to our region’s quality of life.
Fort Wayne Artist Relief Fund
Arts United partnered with the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne for the Artist Relief Fund, helping individual artists who have lost work and income due to COVID-19. Applications are closed.
The Artist Relief Fund distributed $106,060 was granted to a total of 106 artists in two rounds of funding to self-employed artists of all disciplines, artists contracted by arts and culture nonprofits, and furloughed employees of arts and culture nonprofits. This program is made possible by a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Fund, the Edna Foundation Fund, and other charitable donations from the community.
Arts & Culture Reopening Guide
Arts United worked closely with representatives from more than 25 organizations and the Allen County Department of Health to develop the Arts and Culture Reopening Guide. This guide supports arts and culture program and venue administrators as they consider how to successfully engage the communities of Northeast Indiana during the COVID-19 pandemic.
