Some community members will be invited to address the candidates with their questions during the live event.

In April 2019, all mayoral candidates were invited to respond to six questions about their vision for Fort Wayne’s arts, culture, and quality of life, and their views on supporting the excellence of Fort Wayne’s flagship cultural institutions, growing our city’s creative workforce, and making arts experiences more accessible for children and their families. Arts United received responses from Mayor Tom Henry (D), Dr. John Crawford (R), Ms. Gina Burgess (D), and Mr. Tim Smith (R). The candidates’ verbatim responses to all six questions can be found at the link below.
