Zach’s professional practice has a strong emphasis on people and places. As managing partner of the firm’s research initiative, he dedicates his time in understating how design can impact individual health and well-being for people of all ages and abilities. In recognition of his work, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) recognized him with the Young Architect Award. Additionally, Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning Alumni Society recently recognized him with the Alumni Award of Outstanding Achievement. He is the youngest individual to ever receive this award. As a leading figure in the “Lifetime Community” movement, Zach publishes and speaks internationally on the importance of livable neighborhoods and inclusive design.
