Arts United’s Statement on COVID-19

Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne is committed the work in our community during the COVID-19 crisis.

See President Susan Mendenhall’s statement on the importance of supporting nonprofit arts and culture organizations here.

Here are the ways our team has been working to provide support to partner organizations and artists:

  • Daily Information Exchanges – sent out to our partner organizations with relevant information for resources on relief, professional development, and government declarations
  • Fort Wayne Artist Relief Fund – A grant in partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne for individual artists affected by the COVID-19 crisis
  • #ArtStartsHere – A social media initiative on Facebook and Instagram to capture moments of creativity at home
